Modern full-stack development involves much more than building a frontend and connecting it to a database. Production applications need backend architecture, database design, authentication, integrations, deployment, debugging, and ongoing maintenance.
I'm a Full Stack Developer based in Dubai, UAE, with professional experience across PHP, Laravel, WordPress, WooCommerce, ASP.NET, APIs, and web application development. My work and personal projects cover different stages of the software lifecycle — from understanding a requirement to deploying and maintaining what gets built.
PHP and Laravel development
Laravel is the main framework I use for backend and full-stack work. I've used it for business applications, ERP-related development, e-commerce projects, APIs, and an HRMS platform — with Livewire and Filament handling interactive interfaces and admin systems on top.
WordPress and e-commerce
My professional experience also includes WordPress and WooCommerce development, which means I can work comfortably on both custom applications and CMS-based platforms. That includes commerce integrations, custom APIs, payment-related workflows, and synchronizing data between systems — particularly useful when a company already has a WordPress or WooCommerce environment but needs custom backend functionality added on top.
REST APIs and integrations
Rather than keeping systems isolated, APIs let applications exchange information and automate business processes. My development experience includes working with products, orders, customers, payment workflows, and other business data across different systems and platforms.
MySQL and database development
Backend development depends heavily on good database design. I work with MySQL and relational database concepts — relationships, joins, indexes, transactions, and data validation — and I also have experience with MongoDB through different projects.
Docker and Linux
I maintain self-hosted applications using Docker, Docker Compose, and Linux, which gives me practical experience with deployment environments, containers, reverse proxies, networking, databases, and troubleshooting services outside a local development setup. It also changes how I build applications, because I understand more of what happens after code leaves the development machine.
Projects that demonstrate this in practice
My portfolio includes a Laravel HRMS, a custom e-commerce application, WordPress and WooCommerce platforms, commerce integrations, ERP development, ASP.NET applications, and self-hosted infrastructure projects. I'd rather show where and why a technology was used than just list it.
Open to opportunities in the UAE
I'm currently exploring Full Stack Developer, Software Engineer, PHP Laravel Developer, and Web Developer positions in Dubai and across the UAE — particularly with teams working on business applications, APIs, e-commerce, SaaS platforms, internal systems, and automation. I'm also open to select freelance projects where my Laravel, WordPress, or integration experience fits — see my freelance developer page for that side of the work.
